Complete the appeal form and Provide your statement

The Appeal Form is fillable so you do not have to print.  

1.  Complete all questions on the Appeal Form.

2.  Save your completed Appeal as a PDF.  

3.  Write your statement explaining your extenuating circumstances. 

Confirm your educational Plan has been updated

• Log into your
• Click on the 3 horizontal lines next to "My Success Network"
• Press on "Degree Planner"
• Click on your current Education Plan and ensure it has been updated/approved within the last 30 days.
• If you need an appointment to update your ed plan with a counselor, please call (209) 588-5109.
  • DO NOT edit your approved educational plan white your appeal is being reviewed. 

Use your student email to submit your Appeal request.

1.  Submit your Financial Aid Appeal form and statement before the semester deadline. (Deadline is TWO weeks before the end of the semester you are appealing for)

2.  Make sure to attach your statement. Appeals will not be reviewed without the statement. 

Check your Student Email often for updates on the status of your appeal

1.  We will send you an email when your completed appeal is received.  Please allow up to five business days.

2. Check your student email for updates regarding your appeal timeline.
